Returning for a third year, WOMAD reinforces its reputation with Charlton Park - the quintessential UK music festival, with a stellar line-up of artists. Many world-class acts from various countries will play across this three-day weekend; household names, names to discover, names too numerous to mention. Whatever your bag - Cuban rumba, drum 'n' bass, sub-Saharan blues - you will find it at WOMAD Charlton Park, in the stunning wilds of the Wiltshire countryside.
The line-up for this year includes Ethiopia's biggest music names, the Ethiopiques, the funky, hi-Tec septet from New Zealand Fat Freddy's Drop and US soul legend and Grammy winner Solomon Burke will be joined by his band. Also joining the festival this year will be Nigeria's Afro beat singer/songwriter Nneka, another thrilling sound from Ethiopia, Dub Colossus, and two of Mali's most talented musicians, Oumou Sangare and Rokia Traoré.
